Martinelli was the subject of a €45 million ($51.8m) bid from Galatasaray last week, per ESPN sources. Arsenal have already let Leandro Trossard head to Besiktas, and they explored a move for Real Madrid's Vinícius Júnior — but he has since signed a new contract in Spain.

Despite that, Arteta's stance is clear: the Gabis stay. The duo remain part of his plans as Arsenal look to defend their Premier League title.
