Seahawks: Offense Is Cooking
New OC Brian Fleury's scheme has Seattle's defense feeling the heat. Safety Julian Love joked the D thinks the offense has their script, with Cooper Kupp and Sam Darnold checking into the right looks. The Armand Membou-David Bailey battles on the edge are camp's best show. Membou says the rookie pass rusher is a hell of a player, and the Jets defense has a legit duo forming. Geno Smith is absolutely slinging it, hitting five different receivers in one red zone period. Fantasy sleeper: Adonai Mitchell is gaining chemistry with Smith and looks ready to break out in a contract year.
Steelers: Pass-Rush Depth Is Unfair
Pittsburgh's defensive line is stupid deep. Even without Cameron Heyward, the DT room wrecked run install. T.J. Watt is being moved around more than ever, and Nick Herbig is experimenting as an A-gap blitzer. Fantasy-wise, this offense is staying run-heavy. Jaylen Warren and Rico Dowdle will both be playable — Warren breaks tackles, Dowdle catches passes.
Eagles: Hurts Looks Dangerous Again
Jalen Hurts is moving like the dual threat of old. The tush push isn't going anywhere, but expect more designed runs and open space. Dontayvion Wicks is the real deal — multiple people in Philly brought him up unprompted. Saquon Barkley? He'd love more carries from under center so he can see the field and rip off those 20-yard gains again.
49ers: Injuries Can't Kill the Belief
San Francisco is banged up — Ricky Pearsall is out for the year, and several starters are missing time — but Trent Williams says the locker room believes after last season's playoff run. Mike Evans is the big addition who should open up the offense. And Trent is hyping rookie De'Zhaun Stribling: same body type as Jauan Jennings but runs 4.3. Fantasy folks, circle that name.
Browns: Denzel Boston Is the Flag Plant
My entire camp tour flag plant? Browns rookie Denzel Boston. He has real size, strong hands and smooth route-running for a 6-foot-4 receiver. He looks like a future WR1. The QB battle between Deshaun Watson and Shedeur Sanders is real, and Watson's rushing ability could be sneaky fantasy value if he starts. Also keep an eye on Carson Schwesinger, who somehow got better after a DROY season.
Ravens: Lamar Is Airing It Out
Lamar Jackson is slinging the ball downfield in Declan Doyle's offense, and rookie Ja'Kobi Lane keeps flashing. Baltimore wants chunk plays. Derrick Henry is still the workload king, but the Ravens are finding ways to get him to the perimeter. Defensively, the three-safety looks with Kyle Hamilton and Malaki Starks should bring chaos.
Cowboys: Caleb Downs Is Everywhere
Dallas traded up to get Caleb Downs, and he's already playing safety, nickel and covering CeeDee Lamb in practice. The Cowboys are asking a lot from a young defense, but Downs looks like the real deal. Fantasy-wise, Jake Ferguson is still a rock-solid mid-round tight end — Dak Prescott kept finding him all day.
Bengals: The Pieces Are All There
Joe Burrow has never had this much offensive stability. The O-line took a real step forward, all five starters return, and the Burrow-Chase-Higgins connection is still unfair. Cincinnati is experimenting with under-center looks, but don't overthink it — the fastball is shotgun Burrow to Ja'Marr. Also, DJ Turner is becoming a shutdown corner, and Chase Brown is being used all over the formation like a weapon.
