New York Jets cornerback Qwan'tez Stiggers is on the mend after a frightening moment at Wednesday's joint practice with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Head coach Aaron Glenn confirmed that Stiggers has entered the NFL's concussion protocol after showing symptoms a day after collapsing on the field.

“Talked to him a good amount last night and he's doing well,” Glenn said. “I talked to his wife and she's taking good care of him, so happy about that.”

The scary sequence went down when Stiggers passed out during the session. He was given an IV on the spot and loaded onto a stretcher before being rushed to a local hospital. Fortunately, he was released Tuesday night, and the early signs are encouraging.

A Young Corner with Serious Upside

Stiggers, 24, is entering his third NFL season after being selected by the Jets in the fifth round of the 2024 NFL Draft. He's already appeared in 29 games over his first two seasons — a testament to his durability and playmaking potential. Now the priority is his health, and the Jets are taking no chances with the league's concussion protocol.

Stay tuned for updates on Stiggers' status as he works through the protocol. The Jets need him on the field — but more importantly, they need him healthy.
