According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the veteran linebacker is reuniting with Pittsburgh on a one-year contract after spending the 2025 season with the Las Vegas Raiders. This isn't just a homecoming; it's a thunderous thump back into the heart of a defense that's ready to make some noise.

Back in Black and Gold

Roberts, 32, is no stranger to the Steelers' system. From 2023 to 2024, he was a key piece in Pittsburgh, racking up 101 tackles in his first season with the team. Sure, his role dipped in 2024 as he played only 44% of the defensive snaps, but he still managed 46 tackles, five tackles for loss, a sack, and a forced fumble.

Now, after a resurgent year in Sin City where he started 16 of 17 games, Roberts returns as the aggressive, downhill thumper this defense craves.

A Veteran Presence With a Punch

In 2025, Roberts was one of the veteran voices in the Raiders' locker room — and it showed on the field. He finished with 90 tackles and 16 run stuffs, proving he's still a force against the run at an age when many LBs start slowing down.
