The Indianapolis Colts just added a cheat code to their wideout room.

Keenan Allen is headed to Indy

According to multiple reports, the veteran receiver agreed to a one-year deal worth up to $8.32 million. That's right — “Third-and-Keenan” is bringing his legendary route-running to the AFC South.

Allen, 34, might not be the burner he once was, but he's still one of the most reliable hands in the game. Last season with the Chargers, he hauled in 81 receptions for 777 yards and four touchdowns. But here's the real savage stat: he led the NFL in first-down receptions (29) and third-down catches (34). When the chains needed moving, Allen was the guy Justin Herbert looked to — and now Anthony Richardson gets that same security blanket.

An all-time great still stacking résumé

This is a player with a Hall of Fame case and a highlight reel from hell for defensive backs. Allen is 13th in NFL history in receptions (1,055) and has 12,051 receiving yards with 70 touchdown catches. Six Pro Bowls. Eleven seasons with the Bolts before a 2024 trade to Chicago. Then a return to L.A. last year that reminded everyone he's still got plenty left in the tank.

Now he's taking his surgical route tree to Indianapolis, where a young QB gets a veteran safety valve who can turn a 3rd-and-8 into a first down without breaking a sweat. The Colts are getting a pro's pro, and the AFC South just got a little more dangerous.

The deal is done. The old man still has moves. And Indy just got a whole lot sharper on third down.
